a few months ago I had some boy Scouts over for the night and showed them the knife world ,afew made knives, afew never came back, but one boy
"18" just needed a damascus blade in his hands but was working and going to school so I made him a knife to play with he's a good kid and wanted the red white and blue handle micartia he saw on the table on a damascus knife
so i pounded out a blade of 15n20 and 1095 120 layers ,his mom said she wanted it under 6" blade so the blade is 5" long 1/4 thick overall 9 3/4 long
.it was his birthday yesterday and i gave him this knife ,i'll make a sheath next week got some knives to get done before the 25 july for a small cowboy show

You just gave that boy a lifelong memory...and a knife that he will always treasure. You are, in deed, a good man.
Nice knife, btw.

Wow that is a really nice gift. I would have been ecstatic to get something like that when I was a scout.

That is the type and quality of a knife that stays with a man from gradeschool to the grave. You just made that kid's best friend for life. That is one beautiful and awesomely useful knife!
