I traded a knife with him for a Spyderco Southard. I received a knockoff. After trying to text/call him for about a week, I gave him an ultimatum for today at 7pm. I haven't heard back yet, so here we are.
Here you can see a the knock off Southard and a real Caly 3.5. The you can see the difference in coloring on the logo, the one on the Southard is orangish and you can feel a gritty texture, while the Caly is smooth and is a bold black.
Here you can see the difference on the box. It's hard to tell on pics but in person it's quite obvious. The one on the right is the real box, it has a deeper gold coloring
The lock side, instead of a stonewash, is a bead blast, and the clip i received, before I ano'd it was high gloss instead of stonewash.
As per what I told him, I will tell you who he is.

Even if I'm wrong about this being a fake, I have been trying to get ahold of him for the past week or so days, he has not returned any calls, texts or voice mails. I then sent him 2 warnings, asking him to get back to me and explain himself. He did not. When he traded with me, he described the item as 'Used but like new' When I got it, the blade was pressing against the G10 side, and the pivot was completely loose. Also with up and down rock.
Thank you and please avoid this person. If I am wrong and this knife is NOT a fake, I will immediately delete/close this thread, and post an apology thread, I will do the same if he explains himself and returns my knife to make this right.
