Hey guys/gals, today I have one Brad Duncan Whiplash for sale. This Whiplash features damascus with a nice pattern and contrast on both the blade as well as the bolsters. The rest of the handle consists of rosewood scales with a very nice grain. Its hard to get a good picture of the wood grain, but when you see it in person they really pop! As far as function goes, it locks up with a nice clank with lots of room for wear if the buyer were to make this a user. As it sits now it has spent its entire life as a safe queen. The blade is about as perfectly centered in the handle as it gets and it opens nice and smoothly. The original owner is a very trusted member here on Bladeforums with a VERY extensive collection of custom folders. He bought it new from Brad Duncan himself and says he never once put it in his pocket. I trust his word and by looking at it, it looks like it has never even seen a micron of work duty. I bought it from him about 4 years ago and have never used it also except for ocassionally taking it out of its pouch to admire while sitting on the couch. I'm one of those people who cringe when they see people wrist flicking their knives open super hard with a big clank, so its never even seen any of that. It has spent its whole life in a pouch with the damascus kept perserved by rubbing it down with a Tuff Cloth every time I took it out. I think the pictures below say what ever else I may have missed. You'd be very hard pressed to find a custom damascus folder for less than that! But Id really like to move it today.
