Gary - Are these all G2's? I'm new to Bradford recently. It looks absolutely delicious!...such a beautiful job on the CF handles, haven't seen a polished CF beauty like that in awhile...and the red liners accent.

I am currently in the market for my first Bradford. A friend of mine has the 3V Guardian 5 and while I'm somewhat on the fence about the bumpy G10 handle scales (and the round butt mentioned above, lol) I absolutely love the grind & the overall craftsmanship of the G5 and really all Bradford knives in general. It's one of the best slicers my friend said.

Any suggestions for a first one? Only preference I have is that blade length I usually like to keep between 5" and 7" give or take. Not too picky on the handle scales, I'll know the right one when I see it. I prefer something like those CF as opposed to the bumpy G10 on that G5.

Brad was more than kind, he sent out one and I received it today, very well done, the carbon fiber is amazing looking!!!

Thanks again Brad, probably not many of these left now.

Those in the photos you copied are the G2 version, well Brad called them the GS, Graley Special version, not sure if they are still being made, but worth the email to Brad to see.

As to size wise the Guardians, I think the 5 is a good compromise for overall usefulness if you are a woodies kinda guy and I have yet to try their new contoured scales, but they look great!

How do you guys feel about using this as a pairing / utility kitchen knife along as a steak knife ?
