Alias 2

*$old*

This knife was carried a couple times by the previous owner. I removed the finish on the ti with the intention of blueing it, but liked the way it looked so I thought id see if anyone would like it before I go ahead and set it on fire.

EDIT: knife has now had its flame session. I went with a subtle look and polished the ti up giving the knife a classy understated cool factor. I've updated the video and pics.

The edge looks to be factory and is very sharp. The lock up is solid and blade is centered. The detent is really nice on this knife and allows force to build for openeing and keeps the knife closed very well. I've had problems with weak detents on these in the past. Operation and fit are perfect, obviously the finish has been adjusted. Box, bag, and papers are included.

For the couple folks who've asked,

I sold a sage 2 awhile back and it had the same finish on the ti. I thought it would be a nice knife for those times where you dress up a bit, and called it a dress sage 2. That's why I called this a dress knife, its not a special edition.

The finish is more resiant to scratch and scuff marks because the finish(what shows the scuffs)isn't there anymore. There is also the whole glancing blow effect, like rubbing lube on a boxers face between rounds.

Thread updated after a subtle flame and shine mod.

Hey Korbiaka!

Wow, I almost pulled the trigger on this one, but have a few Ti handled knives I am going to send you very soon to have this kind of work done on. Just wanted to comment how nice this knife turned out and I LOVE the Lum you did!
