Bradley Knives?

It sounds like a common issue. I inquired at BHQ and the custom service guy I deal with said they are great knives but that they have seen some issues. He recommended that when I'm ready to buy (the one I want is not in stock) that I allow them to give it the once over before sending it. Apparently, if you get a good one they are very solid, well built, etc. but if you get one of the ones with issues, you will have to send it back. I am waiting for an Allias II blue with plain edge.

After 5 years with an Alias 2, it is solid as ever, and smoother than it was originally.

I've gotten rid of a Seb and 'Zaan since I bought the Alias, mostly because there are other high end knives I like better, namely the XM18 and an Sng. They replaced the CRK's.

At the price point of the Alias, it is still one of my favorite knives. I'll never get rid of it.

I own 2 Small Sebenza 21's and a Large CRKT Sebenza 21 Combo Edge.

I was looking to pick up an Alias II a few months back and only heard great things about both the 1 & 2 Models.

I ended up picking up a different knife at the time instead, but still love the overall look of the Alias II.

However this is the first time I've heard about off center blades and sticky locks, and am curious how often bad ones show up.

The guy at the store you were at was completely WRONG, as Bradley Knives are 100% manufactured by Benchmade.

I'm unsure where he got the whole "rumor" thing, but that's nothing but some BS story.

I liked the styling of the Alias ever since I saw photos of them here. I bought a used one for my EDC rotation and I really like it. Mine came with very steep edge angles and I finally got around to reprofiling it with my DMT Aligner.

bdmicarta that is one sexy Alias II.

I haven't seen a lot of the blade DLC blades.

Most are the standard config, now I dunno which I like better lol.

Other than the sticky lockup, mine has no problems. I've read lots of solutions to the problem, such as getting the lockface carbidized, but it sounds like more trouble than it's worth for what I consider to be a minor problem that really doesn't bother me that much.

Now that is cool. I've never seen one with the black G10 scale like that, looks very clean.

I'm very pleased with my Alias II. It's a solid design; though not always executed to perfection.

I have nothing but good things to say about Bradley knives. I have an Alias 2 and it is my most carried knife. It is actually my EDC today. I will say mine did come with a sticky lock bar but it broke in quick so no complaints here. Also I have had no problems with blade centering. I would highly recommend one IMO.

I love love love my Alias 2. Solid as a rock, centered, smooth, great cutter, and overall just a great knife. I've been wanting to get an Alias 1.

Benchmade makes knives for bradley. They carry the benchmade quality. These knives are just my style. Titanium handles and s30v blade steel at a reasonable price point. I carry a mayhem.
