This is a fairly new model for me. I call it my Trader model. The main blade is a semi skinner forged from 1084 measuring 3.5" long. The small capping blade is just over 2" long, also forged 1084. The handle is bark elephant ivory. I left the bark texture as the elephant put much more character on than I could. The handle is 4" long and is embelished with deep releif sculpted engraving. I frosted it to give a french greyed look. It is easy to change blades by simply pushing the button on the spine of the handle, giving the blade a firm wiggle, then pulling it straight out. It comes with a cross ride sheath with finished kidskin overlay.

Feel free to contact me for more details, and let me know what you all think.:)

Hey Bailey,

I think this is a terrific knife and the interchangeable blade idea really adds a strong element of versatility. I got to handle one of these (not sure if it was this one or one similar) at the Arkansas show and was impressed with how easy it was to change the blades and how firmly and securely the blades locked into place.

Very well done indeed.

Cheers,

Roger

I'd have to try this knife to get a feel for whether I like the switchable blades. I really like the look of this knife. The ivory has character and the engraving is outstanding.

I have not seen it, but I am not going out on a limb at all if I say I bet the knife is rock solid. Keep on pushing Bailey. One of the coolest things about your work is the variety and constant quality.
