Brahma 119

Thank you, LV, for your posting and best wishes to your birthday. May all your wishes become true and all the knives you want will find their way into your collection.

I also really like your reviews. Wonderful writing style, useful practical commentary, and great pictures.

Now, if you could only keep either the Dog's Head or the Brahma.....

i dont care for the sheath. makes me not carry and use it. one of these days im gonna stick it in an extra 119 sheath and see if it fits. if it does i expect ill use mine much more.

I contacted Buck thru their Facebook page last week and asked if the Brahma fit the leather 119 sheath and they replied with a picture showing that it did in 10 minutes. I thanked them and ordered the sheath right away...fits perfectly.

The Brahma fits very nicely in the standard 119 leather sheath. Tested and approved.

Maybe a photo this weekend I I get to it.

Dang, I was in Maine on your BD. But, didn't bring my passport so they wouldn't have let me cross. What you showed is what a Boy Scout troop needs to do for a day. Don't think they get enough of that now. You could have boiled an egg in a paper cup.
Back home now, just couldn't get use to folks drinking beer with breakfast. 300Bucks

weird. put mine in one of 119s and blade fits fine as expected. fastening the strap doesnt fit, too short. maybe my example of brahma handle is a bit thick tolerance wise or that one sheath is a bit short strap wise. maybe a bit of both, but couldnt do it. gonna try a different 119 sheath as i got a couple 119s. ill report back for anyone interested.

Where were these folks swilling beer with breakfast? Maine? Or Canada?

NY , Long Lake in Ad's. I was having waffles with real maple syrup and they were having eggs and bacon and Blue Moons.
About now that Diner/Bar will be the only place open in town for the winter. Was sort of a backwoods 'Cheers' place... I carried a Vantage most of the trip. They had torn the old LLBean store front down in Rockport to build the new upscale one, I told one salesman they just looked like a upscale Bass Pro to me and he got huffy... 300

Man, you were pretty close. Long Lake is about two and a half hours south of here.
I stop in Indian Lake for lunch sometimes. Can never remember the name of the place. But is in the three way intersection. Out front of the little supermarket.
