• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

    Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

brain blown, need your advice.

have you introduced your syntehtic scabards yet?

not really.

i haven't had time, and i just started them casually last week, as some of their internal structures were on my mind and i felt like i was obsessing a tetch....

a couple investors/buddies (all Investors are my buddies, whether they like it or not - har!) have some on the way, brother.

i encouraged them to beat the crap out of them with heavy use.

hopefully i am going to get some feedback from them.

i would definitely not want to be hit in a joint or in the neck with one.

you'd be one hurtin' bunny rabbit.

here's some of the ones you've seen, with the others that i built last week.

here's a picture of the same ones, on the reverse side. i sprayed the camo one (later) with a non-glare IR-defeater compound, to knock down the shine, etc.

right now, i am just making them for me and practicing a bit, and learning materials.

stuffed with a long or short machete, they are a nice companion to a hawk and a tarp and blanket, when i get out.

a proper hawk and a machete could make life easy, if you knew what you were doing with them, i reckon.

maybe some folks here agree with that.

dunno.

if you (or any brother here, for that matter) have one in mind you'd like to see, please don't hesitate to tell my Erica;

ericag@equinoxcoronado.com

she'll put that in my heads-up list to consider.

the information will be helpful too, so TIA.

a couple brothers are sending in their knives for me to practice with on some smaller bowie-sized sheaths right now.

the idea is to make the sheaths more than just sheaths,

these machete sheaths were for my tastes, so they could be used as Pack Frames, Rabbit Sticks, Fire Bellow Straws, Clubs, etc.

anyways,

thanks for the interest, i think with all the gun-grabbing our loyal government servants are heading to do, the more machetes and hawks we can collect, the smarter and more prepared we will be, and the more options we might have sooner or later.

if i am wrong, they can rust away in the closet, for the cost of a couple burgers.

'don't think i am wrong though. :cool::thumbup:

HTH.
