  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

BRAINS!!! Meet the ZomBecker family!

I gotta agree with TB, and I'm not even trying to kiss up to anyone right now. The 4 doesn't look all that great with black anymore... The 14 however, that looks nice, and with camo, well that's just too dang sexy not to want, and I don't even like the look of the 14 (not really big on the izula handle) to begin with.

Edit: Just saw Daizee's post:

Dude, how many Beckers do you have?!? we've seen so many variations from you!
Those are uglawesome.

btw, do you mask the edges, or just stone the duracoat off after they're baked?

-Daizee

I thought he switched to a two-part air drying dura-coat?

in either case, the question is the same. I should not have mentioned baking as it wasn't relevant (though separately interesting)

I know, but that was the only part of your question I could answer. :p

Too many to count. My office is infested with them.

Stoned? Baked? Now you're making me hungry for some Wheat Thins! :D

Not sure I understand the question. By "edges" do you mean the cutting edge? Early on I tried masking it off but could never get it even, and then there was a raised transition where the paint started. Now I just spray everything and when it's dry I run 'em through the WorkSharp.

Oxide is sorta right. But I never transitioned, because I never used the bake-on stuff (old technology). I've always used the two-part air dry (which isn't really an air dry either. It sets up by the chemical reaction to the hardener -- like epoxy).

Which reminds me -- I have to go clean out the airbrush before it sets up!

Ok, I request, scratch that DEMAND someone loan this man a BK 3 so we can see that bad boy in some Zed murdering green! hahah

These look great. You are correct. Your green is better than "the other guys";)

Well, actually..... I have a stripped -3 sitting here that is close on the schedule. Since it is a rescue tool, of sorts, it's gonna have to be Rescue Red. :D

that answers my question precisely. :D

Those are Gawd awful. So awful that I need some. Nothing like bright colors when evading zombies. I think they see in black and white anyway.

Badassery man.

I even said to one of the Beckerheads -- "I'm waiting for clich to respond. I'll bet if I did up a -5 he'd be all over it!" :D

I likey! I heard they are coming out with a new scratch n sniff coating, for those colors! Zombie Swamp Ass with a hint of fresh squeezed orange! Yum! :D
