Brand identification

Good morning everyone,
I am brand new to this board as of about 5 minutes ago. So, I thought I would get a good start by asking the question here that I was searching for when I found this site. Where are the Chief branded knives made? The only thing I could find said they "looked like they were made in China...." Well then, that is my question. Thanks in advance for any research or any opinion. I actually have one of these in a Stockman configuration and it is a pretty nice piece of work. China or Japan made knives have proven to be pretty decent blades. Opinions?
