It has plenty of belly for skinning but still maintains a very utilitarian blade shape and the forward jimping on the spine of the blade allow for lots of control for detail work no matter what the task. The blade rides on IKBS bearings and rockets to the ready and a flick of the flipper. Weighing inat under 5oz the Hootenanny is big knife performance in a small knife package.
