Brand New CRK Sebenza packaging question - Ummm this is weird

I miss the handwritten b-day cards more than the old boxes. They made me feel like I was getting some sort of "personal attention" or final QC check for my $400 -vs- a rubber stamp. Remember before the blue cloth, when a human wrapped each knife with tissue paper? I know that hasn't been the case for a while, but it was still a nice touch. Sebbies are feeling more mass produced than they have in the past, and it is the culmination of small things like packaging and b-day cards that add up in the end. I value older Sebbies more than the newer ones for these sorts of reasons. No offense intended; CRK is still awesome.

I think it is because of growing demand, maybe there are just too many knives to out personal touches on?

one reason my father doesnt expand his business, he doesn't his business to lose that personal touch.
