Brand new Dozier classic Model 26

Up for sale is a brand new, dead mint, Bob Dozier classic Model 26. Has not been carried, not sharpened, nor has it cut anything. Overall length is 8.5 inches. Bob's hollow grind D2, stainless bolster, spalted red maple (upper) and cocobolo wood (lower), with black, red, and brass spacers. The red maple is gorgeous and has many different "looks" to it, depending on the light and the angle it is viewed at. Color varies from brown to deep red. I don't know how he does it, but it is awesome. I really hate to sell it! Comes with Dozier Wilderness sheath with the thumb break. Dozier sells this knife for $370 plus shipping, plus 16 month wait time. My asking price is $350 shipped to your door in the U.S. Ask questions if you have them.

Wow! That's one of the most unique and interesting Dozier's I've seen.

Is the Model 26 a standard offering?

Haven't seen that grind on his web page, but giving it a model number sounds like a regular model. The spalted red maple looks like a gem stone. Interesting.

If I didn't have so many knives headed my way, I'd grab this.

That knife is a beauty. Bob will do whatever you need him to do, whether it's on his site or not. He has his standard offerings, but will build to please.

None of Bob's narrow tang knifes are standard. JohnnyO is right though, he can, and will do just about anything you want.

Nice score. Kudos on the most interesting Dozier I've seen in a good while... very cool. I saved some pics of it... not sure I could quite get him to recreate in future given the wood characteristics.
