Spammers are like sociopaths; they want what they want when they want it but give no thought to how this affects others.
Now, if I had a product for sale I wanted you all to buy, would breaking all the rules of a forum to splash my ad across your faces be the best way to attract you? Would breaking the rules be a good thing? Even if it were the best product at the best price in all the land, only a pitiful few would be attracted if such slimey tactics were used to promote the product, yet spammers try over and over again.
Some people are just plain dumb. Spammers must have a different DNA makeup- a mutation we've not recorded yet.
