This is one of the new self defense tools that I have been working on. The Branton "Urban Protector" is an ice pick made from carbon fiber and titanium.
Designed to be worn around the neck using 550 paracord. The carbon fiber handle and sheath are held together with rare earth magnets. The Urban Protector can be deployed by simply grabbing the handle and giving it a gentle tug to release the ice pick from it's sheath.
At this time, I will offer the Branton Urban Protector in two different sizes, however, I can and will offer custom sizes upon request. I am also working on different carry options.
I am taking orders to be shipped the day after Christmas.

Model A
8 1/2 " overall
3 1/2" sheath
2 1/2" 3/16ths titanium blade
4 3/4" handle
$89.95 retail

Model B
7 " overall
3" sheath
4" handle
2 1/2" 3/16ths titanium blade
$89.95 retail

How much for shipping to Toronto, Ontario, Canada? I checked on the website and could not find any info on the Urban Protector or shipping costs. Also, I was curious if you managed to sell to any Canadian customers? Since the local laws state that I cannot import any "innocuous" weapons, i.e. sword canes. So I'm unsure how your Urban Protector fits into the law.
Other than that, I think you have a great design there that fits nicely into a portable package.

It is perfectly legal in Canada so long as your "intent" is to use it and sell it as an ice pick or awl made of hi tech material. Intent is the basis of the law.

If Bobby has one that was intended as a ice pick for a modern designer kitchen I would not mind being the Canadian test subject?
