The dedication it took to see the project through, and the level of craftsmanship, really says a lot about the type of man he was.
There were a couple articles done on the car right after it was finished. I have one of them, and it is framed and hanging on the wall. It would be neat if Ford would do an article on it, because they were involved through out the whole project. Getting him whatever info he needed
The comment about it being priceless was really driven home when the biggies from Ford flew out to his house in Oregon to see it. They offered him a blank check for the car. That was there thought to, you can't really put a price on something like this, so fill it out for whatever you feel is fair. It needs to be at least seven digits....
Another person from southern California offered him ANY exotic sports car he wanted, plus $250,000....

I think after he agreed to let his friend put it in his museum, he really wished it would have gone to Ford. But the deal was already done....
Its been a couple years since I have seen the car, but IIRC the overall length of the car is between 2- 2 1/2 feet long.
As far as the total hours, he never kept an actual log. I couldn't even begin to guess what the total would be
