I had a few request to do another Morel knife on a larger scale.This is what I came up with after literally hours and hours (54 hrs in knife) of carving.I think I developed carpal tunnel in my fingers! Ha!Anyway the large mushroom is carved from the crown on a Moose antler and the handle on the knife is carved from Moose antler.Handle sits on a file worked brass spacer which is faced by file worked Walrus ivory.The pommel is carved brass.The whole piece is attached to a polished piece of Maple with brass circles inlaid on each end and a black felt bottom.With tape around large mushroom it measures 8 1/2 inches.It stands 5 1/2 inches.

Blade; 1520n & 1095 steel hollow ground, 3 1/2 inches,1/8 inches thick
