SOLD OUT!
Thank you to all who ordered!

***I have added finishes. A hammered forced patina finish. See last post by me for details.

Well, I was asked for a little material variety. Here is the first run of the brass two fingered 'Face Opener' bottle opener and Undercover Personal Protection Device (UCPPD). These have a little more love and attention in them. The corners are well rounded over, still providing enough support on the finger to remain comfortable but just a little more rounded over. Everything else is the same as the aluminum version. Chamfered keyring holes, and still opens a bottle like nobody's business. And hefty enough to be a good paperweight or to add a little mass to a right cross.

Pardon the scratches here and there, this is my personal one and rides on my keys daily. They will pick up some scratches as they are brass and as such a bit softer. But I brush and tumble each one to start it off with a gently worn look.

Here it is on a keyring with keys. I use the stainless s-biner from Nite-Ize just to separate it a bit and make it easy to unhook. I can add one to an order if they aren't readily available where you live, just ask and add $1. Dimensions are the same as the aluminum. Holes are just over 1" which I find fits most people, even some with gloves on... The load of the impact is born by the heel of the hand, making these actually quite comfortable considering what they are...

Here by its self.

And opening a bottle... I have pointed out to bartenders that this can be worn fairly unobtrusively and pop bottle tops in a hurry while still being at the ready as it were...

Pardon the knocked about hands. Comes with the work.

I have 20 this go around. Unfortunately materials cost for this are quadruple the aluminum, and there is a bit more labor and some other small considerations. So I can't offer them quite as low as the aluminum though I'd truly like to.
Offering on BF only..
That's $35 (SOLD OUT) shipped to any address in North America or APO etc boxes. Will be by USPS priority mail service. Same price for the hammered finish I offer now...
Stainless S-biner included. Either black or brushed, at random. No split rings with these, my supplier is momentarily down for the stainless split rings...
Please order by emailing me at E.Lucy@gmx.com with a quantity and either use your Paypal email addy or tell me what it is. I will send an invoice to you. Once paid, they will ship within 48hrs. (My day job cuts into my packing and shipping schedule...) Most arrive within 3 days, but have seen as long as 10 business days out of the USPS. Foreign orders are welcome, just contact me first to establish pricing, etc.

Thanks again for all the support from the members here, and y'all's input on everything.

Added that s-biner is now included. I have both black and brushed stainless. (Both are the metal versions) Enough for one for each order.

Cheers.

Great design and great price. Looks like it can actually be used, if need be.

Ill be hitting you up this Friday good sir. (Payday)

They are quite functional in both capacities. They're made from Naval grade brass. The aluminum always worked just fine, but these add some mass which can be the difference between feeling like a last ditch device or a true self defense tool. They feel extremely solid in the hand, and the brass just looks more intimidating to me for some reason...
The catch all term is 'brass knuckles' after all... ☺

A word about the thickness too... I get asked about doing 1/2" or so from time to time. I did a couple of sets in 1/2" and 3/8", brass and aluminum. For one the bottle opener portion wasn't quite as effective, but they were very bulky and heavy... They didn't work well on a keyring either.
1/2" or so is awesome for a set of stand alone knuckles, and I have a few sets, but here I was shooting for a keyring that could be thrown in the pocket every day.

Thanks to all who've ordered thus far. Paid through today going out first thing tomorrow morning.

11 left as of now.

Cheers!

I think that the aluminum one needs to be updated. I'll take one with a s-biner. Thanks Martin

I have 9 left as of today.

I can also play with finishes on them as well if anyone prefers polished or brushed vs the tumbled look... I just go straight for the tumbled since most will be thrown in a pocket with keys and such, so it tends to be the best wearing finish...

And; this is the one and only run of these I plan to do in brass. On to other things next.

Cheers.

Apparently my post above about thickness only seemed to muddy the waters. I keep getting requests for thicknesses I do not offer.

These are 1/4" thick only...

Anything thicker, IMHO (and from the opinion of one who actively searches these things out on other people...) is not easy to conceal if that is the goal. And that is at least partly what these are intended for. Also too thick to be a good bottle opener of the design used here, and too heavy to carry on a keychain. Unless you like the whole 'corner gas station men's room keychain' look.

I have 8 left.

These look like fine bottle openers, very nice work.

I have 6 total left now, a local customer reduced his original order. 3 regular tumbled finish and 3 in a really cool and durable hammered and forced patina finish. (These are the three from the local order.) This finish has a $5 additional charge though as it is time and materials intensive...

The three regular are still $35 shipped anywhere in North America. The hammered are now also $35 shipped. Also with the s-biner included. The 3 tumbled can be finished in the hammered look as well if desired, same $5 additional.

I may create another listing for the hammered just so they don't get buried. If so the total will be changed here to reflect those sales. I hate to put up unnecessary listings though.

Email me with finish, qty, and email addy for PP invoice.

Cheers!
Eric

Great item Eric, really like the extra weight of these and the new finish makes it that much better. Nice work and keep them coming.
