Brass Investigator Pen - Will these become available again?

It definitely weighed less than the SS, best I can remember. I think it would serve that purpose well. The aluminum is super light weight, but almost to a fault in my modest opinion...

i definitely understand that. sometimes a good, hefty weight is beneficial to a pen and in some cases makes a pen feel more high class. i think im going to hold out for the brass then. thanks again brad.

latest news as of yesterday...

Brass and Stainless Investigators are going to be about a month out, and unfortunately as crazy as things have been around here I am sure I said that a month ago. We just wrapped up manufacturing parts for all the full size pens, so hopefully we'll have a spot in the next month to work in the small pens, and may even do some copper while were at it. The titanium and aluminum Investigators are in stock currently.

Copper you say? I may be down for one.

i want a copper one too, but im hoping it wont be as expensive as the Ti pens.

I e-mailed Rob earlier today looking for a flamed ti Extreme Duty. Unfortunately I'll have to wait a few more weeks. :(

I think I know the answer but, The small and full size pens Rob refers to are the Investigator and the Extreme Duty correct? I wanted to make sure I didn't miss a memo or an email and there was another size "pen" because despite the fact they are similar I always associate the small with being a pen and the large with being an actual Kubaton.

Wish to Santa: an in-between Investigator and Extreme Duty pen from Hinderer and Co. Almost as if there was a knife that came in 3" and 4".....I'd Love a 3.5" ;)

I don't remember the exact sizes but in large to small order they are the Kubaton (which takes a small refill by the way), the Extreme Duty and the Investigator.

That is good news, Rob.
As to the "click"... If it does, it will become my primary pen and help better round out my carry.

i would love to have a clicky pen the size of the investigator. if i had a Ti version, i would sell all of my other pens and buy one of those.

I'd love to order a brass Extreme Duty pen but the website brings up an error screen from Virtual Merchant saying:

errorCode=4009
errorName=Required Field Not Supplied
errorMessage=The field Customer Code (ssl_customer_code) required but not supplied in the authorization request.

Very frustrating, and none of the resellers seem to have any of the brass as yet. From the Hinderer website forum it seems I'm not the only one getting this message. Any ideas?
Cheers, Matt
