Brass liners...

Anybody care to comment on brass liners instead of titanium or stainless stee? I want to try brass liners as I like the color difference. Will brass threads strip easy?
 
Brass liners have been used for years, before the aluminum handled things came out. Brass is self-lubricating and will not rust. Threads shouls not strip too easily.

Brass knives have been around for thousands of years. Ever sense the end of the stone age, when they started to use metal tools. Aluminum became available after ww2 when they had a lot of scrap aircraft aluminum available. Esp. they liked to use the scrap aluminum in the Philippines to make knives. It is soft and easy to work with by hand with their primitive tools.
