Hello to anyone with the qualifications,
I'm looking to get raw brass scales for a CRKT Squid I purchased a bit ago, to spiff it up a little. I'm tossing it up between a knurled texture or just a simple polish, and either one of those with the same edge beveling as the original scales.
The only thing I'm not sure about is whether I would get just the single scale for the front, or if a brass scale could be made for the clip side even though it has the frame lock mechanics (I don't know if brass would be good for that, and it's a more complicated element to cut out). I'm totally good for the single side if that's all that can be done though.
If anyone has the ability to fabricate this and has a gallery or portfolio of previous mods for viewing, feel free to message me.
