Has anyone been using a Bravo. I have been trying to find one here in Canada and also interested in the Vantage Pro. Is the Bravo that much better to warrant the difference in price?

Welcome to the forum. I don't have the Bravo but do have the Pro and its a great knife.
Hopefully, Stainz will comment as he has experiance with both.

Different knives with different missions IMO however.

Was taught that if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all.
Well, I never was one for even staying in the lines with crayons.
If the Bravo was a soldier, I'd leave it propped up against a tree with a canteen of water and half full clip with a two words, "Good luck".

Of course, this is just my opinion... but I wouldn't buy an 850 Bravo again on closeout at WallyWorld for less than a 'Happy Meal' in their food court. I love Buck knives - just not that one - not much for 'happy meals', either. Now, a 347 Vantage Pro - that's a KEEPER! Just my NSHO. Check out my other posts - recently, the Native/Vantage Pro threads.

YMMV. "Return your tray to the upright and locked position..."
"Torpedoes? Damn! Full speed ahead!"
Need decaf....

Wow. I'm surprised that no one has chimed in with a positive opinion. Someone must like this one. Would be interested in seeing a write up of the positive points that I may just not get.

humm if some one were to send me one i would try it
but after the above i am not sure i would buy one to try..
now would like the facts as to why ...

Thanks for the input guys, I pre-ordered a 347 Vantage Pro today. The blade style of the 347 is better suited to my needs.
