Bravo-1 ramp no ramp

I prefer no ramp for my vote. I've found that the Bravo1 is a bit uncomfortable in certain circumstances. Since I never use the ramp otherwise I prefer without.

Sorry, going to go a bit off topic now...

By the way they also have spear point and full height gind versions for sale right now. Even more decisions to make your head spin!:D

I'm not too interested in the spear point, but will the full height grind do worse in batoning/wood carving than the original grind?

Subjectively speaking, I feel that jimping/notches on the spine near the handle are a great thing to have. The traction I gain with blood and slime on my hands (when gutting fish) is fantastic. When you're scaling and gutting dozens of fish, that jimped spine rocks. It's also a great spot to strike firesteel on.

Full height might slice better, saber ground might batton better. Not much difference or trade off.

thanks, I'll probably go with the saber grind then!! :)

and yes, the jimping does seem like a good place to strike the fire steel, although i probably will already have a designated striker, so it won't be too much of need.
I might sand off the jimping a little so that it won't be so... harsh on my fingers.
