bravo 1 xray

i was able to find this but not sure who it is please forgive the lack of knowledge on my part but heres what he says.

We have covered this a number of times.

There are tests posted all over the internet on the Bravo-1 and nobody ever broke one.

the Original knife that the Marines testad-- A Gameskeeper--has a skeletonized Tang too.

Ask yourself Something.

It costs extra to Skeletonize the Tang.

Why would I Spend the extra money to skeletonize the Tang if is Compromised the knife in any way ?

The Answer is that I would not do that.

So, why not just leave the metal there? Weight savings? Overall balance?

I'm not questioning the strength of the knives, as they have proven themselves.

That would be the words of Mike Stewart.

That knife is made that way to achieve the overall balance Mike Stewart wanted.

Remember that knife is based on the Gameskeeper.

Many of the BRK&T knives have skeletonized tangs.

...you guys seem to think that bark river will honnor the knife, i wasnt sure read the warrenty and it only says aginst manufacture defects not use. anyone ever had any warrenty work done buy they. i wont stop useing my bravos they are to nice and to good at there job but i might liten the duties a little. once i can find out the exstint of the warrenty what they consider a manuf. problem and what they call yur problem...

The BRK&T warrantee is about the best you can get.

You break or damage the knife blade or handle, they will fix or replace it.

Same for the sheath.

Chopping or batoning is just normal use as far as Mike Stewart is concerned.

Also, you can send a knife back for refurbishment at any time, it will just cost you shipping and handling, and will come back looking like new.

No other knife company I know of stands behind their products like Bark River.
