Bravo-1

I've been eyeing the Bark River Bravo-1 for some time now, and have finally bitten the proverbial bullet. Just ordered one from KSF with the optional leather sheath. I know there are a ton of Bravo-1 supporters here, and I've never seen a dedicated Bravo-1 thread... so... if you have a Bravo-1 and love it, lets see it! Any in-use pics would be great too! In-hand shots always appreciated!

On a related note, does anyone know of any Bravo-1 reviews you could link to?

Obviously, this thread is just to hold over my over-zealous anticipation of the impending arrival of a blade that I have always heard very good things about... Indulge me, please!!!!!!

The Bravo-1 and its bigger brother, the Bravo-2 are among my favorite knives. I think you made a good choice- especially going with the leather sheath. I've found the steel and heat treat to be as good as anything I've ever used- and that includes Infi. That sucker is tough. Go ahead and try, you're not going to bust it up. Lots of guys complain about the "thumb ramp"- but I like it. I carry my Bravo-1 in my Maxpedition bag every day, and have really enjoyed using it. This thread has prompted me to pull it out and give it some love. A little simichrome and oil, and she's looking good as new. :thumbup:

The Bravo 1 has become one of my "GO TO" knives. He is my field setup.

The gunny looks great too. It is on "The List"

The bravo 1 is my favorite fixed blade. I have carved up stuff for a couple hours and no hot spots at all. It is super comfortable in the hand and I find has a good grip (although others say it is too smooth). It has great balance and it slices very well even though it is a fatty. Super tough and I am very happy with a2. This guy beats my busse hands down for comfort and funtion. I just love this knife
