I was playing with the knife last night and it really feels nice in hand. The handle is the perfect size and has nice contouring, literally fits like a glove.
Yeah, normally I wouldn't pay $20+ for a firesteel, but it just looked too cool to pass up. It would be a cool DIY project though to play with some handle material. I may try pulling the plastic handles off of my other steels and try my hand at shaping some Micarta or a cool piece of wood on there.
