BRAVO RAT Cutlery!

Makes me want to order a Black Izula right now to keep my O.D. Green ones company. RAT cutlery deserves every bit of business they get.

What! You didn't bitch and belly ache about how you were wronged and air your grievances on the forum? :grumpy: You mean, you just sent your knife back in and they put an edge on it AND gave you an extra knife? WOW, I guess understanding and respect breeds understanding and respect.....guess it's all in how how you choose to handle some disappointments.;)
Sorry, just had to throw that sarcasm out there Jeff. Congrats on the new member of the family and cheers to RAT for their great customer service.

Great story, thanks for sharing! Another example of why RAT has the best customer service in the business!!!

I am truly impressed, but not surprised. thanks for sharing that story.

I have to totally agree here. Not really all that surprising yet when you take a step back and look; it is impressive.

I will never buy a different fixed blade knife.

Made me just buy a Pink Izula..because I don't have that color. But if the small chance I get it dull I will shapen it. :) The Pink is the only color I don't have.

These guys give away more stuff than anybody. If you've ever been to the Blade show you know what I'm talking about. Very generous. Monthly drawings and give away contests, who else does that? Awesome products, brutal honesty and amazing customer service, no wonder you guys have a rabid following. RP-431 customer for life!

Not to brag, but I'm working on tax stuff now and so far in my figures we have given away over 20,000 dollars worth of product this year when it comes to shows, contests, law enforcement and military. And I'm not finished going through the books yet. We support a lot of LE and MIL charity events with product and monetray donations. I wished it was all deductible! Our customers have been good to us. We always want to give back. Mike and I still live in the same old POS houses we had before we got in this game, still drive beat up vehicles and don't intend to change our lives one bit. We are not rich but we make a living at the training and knfie business and the rest goes back into the system in some fashion. We have no intentions to grow our business much larger than it is now. We would rather branch out than grow it.

Your support of LE/MIL is commendable and greatly appreciated, as is your customer service. To the entire RAT crew, thank you.

A good company...a good product...and they know, understand and respect their customers...Lessons can be learned from RC

I have only recently got into equipping myself with a reasonable range of quality knives. I now have pretty much everything covered and since it is now Summer in this part of the world I will go camping a few times and try out what I have. I think that my 11.5" Kukri with be good and my 7" blade knife, my folding knives are also good. The only weak point really is my 4" blade fixed knife - it only cost $15 and the handle isn't all that great, I've gotten it sharp but the steel is pretty average.

Once I've tested everything out I might look to replace the 4" blade fixed knife with something better quality and better ergonomics. Thanks to this thread the RC-3 or RC-4 has moved up my list somewhat. Us customers should look after the sort of companies that look after us!

Pretty impressive story you and Mike have to tell, Jeff. You guys have sure earned every penny you’ve made. I think I can speak for a lot of us when I say you make feel like friends and not just people you sell product to. I’m sure 2010 has nothing but good things on the way for RAT. Just keep doing what you’re doing.
