Good Afternoon,

Here is a new model I call the Brawler. The idea was something simple that can take a beating. For that reason I went with 8670 for the toughness and ease of field maintenance. The steels downside is edge retention but the upside is it is easy to restore the edge when it dulls. It doesn't require diamond stones and equipment like some steels. You can get a serviceable edge back on this steel with a flat rock or the bottom of a coffee cup.

These blades are made from 3/16" 8670 full flat ground. The clip is positioned and ground so that it does not reduce the material at the tip. I wanted to make sure the tip was stout in case it was lashed to a pole or something like that to reduce the chance of damage.

I decided to coat them black for corrosion resistance and to remove the shine from the steel. The coating is duracoat badass. To make it as durable as possible the steel was sandblasted, degreased and baked before application. I applied 6 coats for a nice thick even finish. Then I stored the knives by the furnace for 2 months. They say 1 month for a full cure so I gave it 2 months. The coating is durable but it will for 100% sure wear with use. I want to make sure that is clear, its a good finish but its not magic. Under use the coating is going to wear.

The handle and hole pattern were designed specifically for cord wrapping. the small holes are used to secure the hollow cord underlay. The medium sized holes secure the filled cord wrap. This hole pattern works with a bunch of different wrap styles. If you do a search on YouTube for knife handle wraps there are dozens of them. I decided to go with this simpler one that leaves a nice center ridge and has about 10 feet of useable cord if removed.

The sheath is kydex.

There are 4 3 available. I wrapped one to show what it looks like. There is a picture of the cord I have available. You can pick whatever combo of under and over cord and I will wrap it before it ships. there is some dust on the unwrapped ones in the pic its not scratches or finish damage. (ONE IS SOLD THE WRAPPED AND TWO OF THE UNWRAPPED ARE AVAILABLE)

Price is $195 which does not include the Tek-Lok. The Tek-Lok is $15. Shipping is included to continental United States via USPS. Preferred payment is via paypal.

Blade Steel: 3/16" 8670
Grind: Full Flat

Overall Length: 6 1/4"
