I'm a fan of big classic's. Something about a 4.5"+ folding knife in a traditional pattern really gets me going.

As I've developed the habit for carrying knives loose in my pocket again, I find myself grabbing the big ones more and more often, usually along with another small slip in the opposing pocket.

Here's 4 of mine, so let's see yours!

1st pic, top to bottom...

- Early 80's Kabar Folding Hunter. Smooth burnt bone scales, 4 3/8" blade
- Schrade-Walden Folding Hunter, late 60's early 70's Asten Felt promo knife, 4 1/4" blades
- Winchester Toadsticker, 1988, 4 3/8" blade.
- Winchester Toothpick, 1992, 4" blade.

Sweet. When you've got knives like that and can read the printing on the blade too, that is great. Those knives are what the love of slipjoints is all about.

I guess these are my largest traditionals. (sorry about the picture quality, I do a little better outside in the natural light)

S&M English jack about 8 1/4" open
AG Russell about 7 7/8" open
PJ Tomes 52100 and stag about 8" open

Here is one of my all time favorite Ray Cover knives, it is 4 5/8" closed 8" open. Ray actually makes one size larger than this, and I will have one of them soon, as well as a couple similar to this one. And to think small knives were my first love :D ...and sort of still are!

Oh my, you fellas have some mighty handsome folders !....I don't own any lage ones ( unless you can count a coupl'a Schrade lockbacks: Uncle Henry LB7 Bear Paw and an Old Timer 125 ) however I sure apprecaite looking at yours. Trouble is now I'm getting an itch that needs scratching so to speak. I've been eyeing a Schatt and Morgan File and Wire "Mountain Man" in AST-34 and Golden Root Bone over on Bill Horns site at Cumberland:

Might have to make gift of one to myself this holiday season.

Shown before in this forum, but my largest folder: A 6" closed texas toothpick, shown with one of the Case tiny ticklers. Hand made by Graham Clayton in the UK.

I've got the S & M File & Wire Mountain Man, as well as a Queen carved stag bone mountain man. They are the 2 best looking knives I have. I'm currently carrying the Queen, and in addition to looking good, it's a very functional knife.

Definitely buy from Bill Horn.

Thanks Keith.....you have great taste in big folders. I believe you just pushed me over the edge into buying one.

There's some good looking stuff here... we need a drool smiley!

This one seems large enough to qualify in this thread and it's one of my favorites.

Ray Cover, Sr. Lockback
ATS-34
Blade: 3 5/8"
Closed: 4 5/8"
Open: 8 1/4"

Well I just sprung for this: its Dirk's (Oupa) customized Queen Mt. Man in D2 with Desert Ironwood scales, dual thumb studs, and a pocket clip for tip up carry.
I looked real hard at the Schatt and Morgan File and Wire Mt. Man in ATS-34
and then I though what the heck for a few "quid" more I can get something a bit unique. Now I wait for it to arrive from Australia.

As you may be able to tell from another post, my favorite big boy is the texas toothpick. Of these, I like the 2000 Schatt and Morgan version the best. With 4" of ATS34 mirror polished, it is a true looker. It's razor sharp and thin, thus it is a true cutter.

I don't have pictures, so I hope this link to BVB ranch works:
