not the most nutritious but im always looking for a place to use a Becker. It's new i'm starting it off slowly

Hmmm...I don't usually do pics of food with Becker knives in them, but I'll have to work on that for you this weekend.

This year's anniversary dinner, potato was cut with the Haze BK9. Blue cheese stuffed beef tenderloin with a baked sweet potato. Dessert was a smoke-roasted pear.

Just to keep you breakfast snobs happy, we have oatmeal pancakes with lingonberry preserves and real maple syrup.

Well hell, I quit. :p

No shit. Way to take the fun out of it. Jerk.

That stuff looks incredible. Come to the gathering and cook for us. Guyon is tired of eating instant meals, and I am probably going to kill us via heart attack with the stuff I cook.

Becker knives and breakfast? - You have no idea how many times I've cut my mouth trying to eat cheerios with my BK2. ;)

Lol, I've got biscuits with cinnamon apple preserves coming this weekend. My uncle is an awesome chef and he's taught me quite a bit over the years, so when I can show off, I do. Saturday's breakfast will be a Beckerlicious feast.

Yeah, kinda looks like you barfed your Lunchables into a wrap :barf:

That's precisely the point. It's "pre-puked" so when you mix beer and strawberry corn liquor you aren't shocked by what comes up. You've already seen it.

Made a little Eskabar breakfast this morning.
Cut up some onion and a few mushrooms.

Threw 'em in the skillet to brown them, then tossed in some eggs mixed with a bit of milk.
Every damn time I try make an omelet, I can't flip the stupid thing.
SO it turned into scrambled eggs.

Have you tried a fold-over omelet? Much easier. Cook your filling in another pan, pour pre-mixed eggs into your main skillet. Salt, and let cook on medium heat til mostly done. I like to put cheese on before it's totally done cooking. Put fillings in middle, and fold the egg pancake around it. Then there's no flipping, and it comes out looking nice virtually every time.

Bah! So simple!
I never think about doing it the easy way. Thanks.

I do this with a T-Fal 10" non-stick skillet, using two large eggs and a teaspoon of water instead of milk. If you cover the skillet with a lid, you can get the top almost as done as the bottom side, then when you close it up, your fillings should be nice and hot, and that combined with the heat from the egg layer will finish cooking the eggs that last little bit. On my gas stove I go just a bit higher than the medium setting to get them just right.

This in here:

is actually a poorly done one, the eggs were cooked over too high of a heat, and there were three eggs in there instead of two. Once I got that skillet dialed in though, perfect ones, every time. ;)

I'll raise the bar with some wild game. Fried eggs, drop biscuits with my homemade wild-berry syrup, and venison bacon.
