The billet was twisted after reaching the desired number of layers. Sorry I didn't get any pics of the twisting.

The Damascus is done, now back to the blade. Here it is sitting on my fancy sanding fixture hand sanded to a dirty finish.

I sent the blade, guard, and a piece of damascus for the collar to Ben. I'm really looking forward to seeing what he does and to see final product! Thank you for following along.
