Hi all, I just finished this little guy up today to fit in my belt carry PSK.
It is small pathfinder with a curve handle on the bottom for 3 fingers.
I have been wanting to put a fixed blade in my belt carry kit for some time but just did not get to it untill to day. The spects of it.
Blade length 1.75" long.
Blade thickness 3/32".
Handle length is 2.75" long.
0-1 steel.

I carry a farmer in my kit to but wanted a smaller fixed blade.

A in hand shot.

I am going to make up some more if these for little Babies LOL for kits like these.

I even made a few for some altoids tins. I just have the blanks. I will put the grinds in this week end and then heat treat them. Then finish them up.

In this pic I am holding one, if you look close I put some file notches on this one. I think it feels pretty good that way on my thumb.

These are just a little shorter so they can fit in the tin.

Well what do you think?

I like that a lot bryan, very practical. Would go great with a little firesteel tucked away. Are you doing a 'run' of those?

Hey Bryan,

Those are pretty nifty. Have you tried using the knife with the grooves with a firesteel? I bet it would work out quite well for that.

Hi all,

Spooky, as for doing a run. I am just going to make them up to have on hand. Well that is the plan anyways LOL. I like to make up these small
Survival kits. I am always tweeking them and seeing what I come up with.
I do not carry a tin per-say but I know some like to put little fixed blade knives in there tins, so I thought I would make some up them. (Who ever them are LOL)

They would be nice with some thin orange G10 scales :)
If you made one that was warny shaped, it would make a perfect firesteel scraper!

Hi Ken. I am going to make up a few more like curvy handle one and put some 1/8" thick scales ( orange of corse LOL )on it. This one that I posted is going into my belt carry psk.

Yea I have plans for a firesteel scraper. I like the wrany thought good thinking, I have not seen anything like that yet for a firesteel scraper. I will make one up this weekend and see how it turns out.
