I've decided to let go one of my zombie killers,lol. This is my custom made cleaver style chopper from Bryan Breeden. What blew my mind most about this beast is that it is hands down the sharpest knife I've ever owned. Its got a convex grind and the edge is scalpel sharp! The specs are: 11" blade made of 3/16" 01 carbon steel with OD green micarta scales and a good quality kydex sheath. I chose 3/16" thickness instead of the chopper standard of 1/4" cuz it still delivers a powerful deep bite but won't tire out your arm with the extra weight. The BK9 is a perfect example if that. I have only used this once and that was to test how it chopped by taking a single swing at a horizontal 2x4 in which it went about 1/3 of the way through!! If you like a good chopper this is definitely for you. And its not often you can get a knife this size and made with this level of quality for a price this low. This thing can without a doubt replace a hatchet and shave a little weight from your gear.
