Breeden Knives

Hi evey one thanks again for the comments on the knives that I have been making.
Ron 53 yes I have been asked about making a 4" version and yes I am going to do that
in the near future. The one I just made up in 1/8th steel is I really do not have a price for it yet. the thing is I am getting faster at making them and there is less grinding on the 1/8" steel than the 3/16" steel ones that I made. I will let you know real soon
as to what the cost of the knives that I make up will be. What I can tell you is that
the thinner steel is just Awesome for cutting and the knife just pretty darn good in the
small chopping choirs that I personaly require.

Take care all I will be posting some new pics either to night or first thing in the morning
I have the PSKK II back from Bear the dog and can really show the difference between
the thinner handle and the thicker handle that I put on the newest PSKK II for those
that would like a thicker handle on that size of knife.

Take care all
Bryan

Hi all, I got the pics for the PSKK II with the thinner and the thicker
handle and a pic of the two knives together.
I am making one up in 1/8" steel for a customer and this will be the first
one in that thickness I can hardly wait to see how it turns out.
I will post pics when it is done. but for now here are the other pics
I was talking a bout.

Hi all I made up a couple more PSKK II one with a 5" by 1/8" thick by 1" wide
blade with a 5" handle and then a 4" by 1/8" thick by 1" wide blade with
a 4.5" handle. I put the 5 incher in a Grohman pouch and it rides very well in that sheath. I like to carry knives in the over the shoulder type carry at times. This just works for me. Well here is a couple of pics what do you
think?

I call it the Demolisher. With an OAL of 11" and a blade just over 6 inches this thing just annihilates wood. It's got Bryans super awesome convex grind and the stock is 5/32" 01 steel. Green micarta scales with red liners. Bryan made the kydex sheath and Marcus Claxton added the black leather backing and belt loop. This is a great one-tool option knife that can do it all.

Sigh.........I wish he was still making blades.

I'm with you on that, Utah! I still hope Bryan returns to knifemaking one day! I have a couple I want him to make for me.

Here's my Breeden custom... I took two of his designs to make this one. I call it the workhorse. I've had it around 3 years or so and I still love it.

BTW, why did Bryan quit making knives?

A new job that took up most of his time to do knifework, if I remember correctly. We'll just keep hoping that he gets the time to start making them again someday soon!

RW did a good job of answering and yes, we all hope he returns to knifemaking. That's a super looking blade you have there.

I designed the knife so the handle permits two different types of grips, one lets you choke right up and gives great control for fine work carving trap triggers etc and the second grip lets you set your hand further back for chopping work.......seems to work just as I'd hoped !

Thank you. As far as blade shape goes, I think of it as my ultra Kephart. LOL But really its just like Bryan's SERE model and not by accident. I wasn't sure how I would like the concave portion, where most thumb ramps are, but it really does allow for an extremely comfortable grip.

That's a beefy blade Pit. Bet it eats wood with a vengeance! Great name too.
