A few months back, I contacted Greg Wall about making a custom knife inspired by a Brend Model 2. I just received the blade, but it's going to be a catch and release for me.
(A few weeks back, I found a Branton-Brend Model 2 for sale and picked that up. So I no longer need the Wall blade.)
Here are the specs...
Blade length: 5.5"
Overall: 10.75"
Steel: 440c - full tang
Finish: hand-finished mirror polish
Handle: black micarta with lanyard hole
Sheath: nicely made left-handed leather sheath with pocket and sharpening stone
The knife has not been used at all. I unwrapped it, handled it a bit, took some photos and posted it here. So it's exactly as received from the maker. FYI, the blade does has a few minor surface scratches. I tried to catch them in pics, but I didn't realize how difficult it is to photograph a mirror-polished blade. (Plus, my camera sucks.)
This is a nice custom blade for a decent price. Asking $390, including shipping (PayPal only, please). That's less than I paid for it. Thanks for looking.
