Brend Question

I have "known" Mr. Prisco for a couple of years now.
He is probably the most professional "sales" person I have EVER dealt with...buying anything! (and I collect ALOT of $#!*...ask my wife!)
Mr. Prisco has stood tall by his products and the products he sells for as long as I have known him. I am preaching to the choir, but just thought I would throw in my $2.67 worth...

As for the Brend, after a good sharpening and realizing that IF I do see combat here soon, that point on the end might be something I may want...well...I am happy as a pig in poop...

The only problem I am having is how to wrap the handle...I have tried it three different ways and I am still not happy...(had to buy my own 550 cord though...I am wrapping the WHOLE handle...all the way down...
looks awesome!

Well, I got my Brend yesterday. I LOVE IT!!:D  :D The edge was actually shaving sharp. So to anyone that is concerned about it. Mine was perfect at the edge. Mine also had that little laser washout. I filed that area flat so the whole surface was the same height, then I slowly ground the dished areas out to a smooth meeting again. Quick, simple, hardly any time involved. While I was at it, I polished the spikes ground surfaces. Now the primary edge, the spike and the pommel are all shiny steel.!!:D   Looks sweet. I then tried my first, second and third attempt at a Strider wrap. Damb, that is hard to do, and have it look as good as the one Raden showed. I will keep trying once the hands are a little less tender. In short. If any of you guys are thinking of getting a Brend. DO IT! It is a first class tool that I look forward to playing with. Good show Andy!!
