Looks good Brent, Nice everything Bolsters-Jigging -Blade style. Hey! What else would you expect from Southwest Indiana Boys.

Thanks guys for the comments. This turned out really nice. The green bone is very dark on the sides... nearly black. The edges are more emerold. The pattern is one that Tony turned me on to. I really like it! I wondered how it would feel with the pen blade open. Its really not uncomfortable. I carried it a couple of days before the final polish and didn't notice it in my pocket either.

Brent,

How did you find working with 304 vs. 410 or 416? I have always liked the idea of 300 series because of it's much higher rust resistance.

Thanks Jeff I have worked with what I call "true" stainless for a long time. I grew up in my fathers machine shop where we did a lot of medical instrument proto type work. I like it because..... I don't know any better! Lol :) It is more rust resistant that's true and I think it takes a better polish plus its non magnetic. It does take some patience to work with though.

I can't believe that gem is still here.

Yep, I wish I had the money right now, but I just bought a new house and expenses have been crazy.

Anyone looking for a custom slipjoint would be crazy not to pick up this beauty.

This may just have to accompany me to the Blade Show. Its one of those knives that if you hold it, it's too nice to resist!

I was able to pick this one up from the post office today. It's my second from Brent. It's exceptionally well made, tight, seamless, well finished, and sharp as they come. Value aside, it's one of my best made slipjoints. Don't hesitate folks.

Seth
