Brent Cramer Knives

Dang, Brent! I'm impressed! Looks like you're getting a real dinger there E...congratulations!

Looks like it is more than worthy of a Blues head bopping so I can swipe it from him. :). (Watch that mailbox real closely Elliott, I figure it is about a three hour drive from me.) :p

Congrats Brent and Elliott.

Nice work Brent,

At 3 1/2 closed it has some really nice lines. Stag looks great also, nicely matched.

Congrats to you and Elliott:thumbup:

I really wrestled with wheather these scales were going to match. It's just hard to tell until they're on the knife.

Thanks to you all for the kind remarks and especially to Brent for building it.

It's been a long wait since I let Bastid walk with that beautiful stag shadow at the Blade Show a few years back, but it looks like it was very worthwhile.

Yup uh huh, Elliott did introduce me to Brent so I guess in this case it would be in poor taste for me to bop him over the head. :D.

Oh well another legitimate chance will come my way.

Oh, what's a little bop between brothers? :p

I just took it down for a while Jeff. After I get this house built and the shop finished maybe I'll launch it again. Right now, anytime I can find has to actually go to building knives..... not a website!

I just reread this post and I did not intent to sound so rude jeff. Sometimes when I'm on my phone trying to reply I get too short. I posted this in haste and want to apologize. My wife says that if I wrote that to her we'd be in a fight! Please don't divorce me jeff!

Now hold on just a minute there, Babalooey!!! Jeff's a bigamist? Why I oughta...:p

Wait a minute Elliott,

I resemble that remark, only kidding of course, sometimes life gets in the way of knives.

Ultimately, this is just a hobby and should be in it's proper place, at the top, of course!

I still love you Brent, but don't tell anybody!

Jeff

That's a great looking WT! Stag looks great, Well
the entire knife looks great, Congrats to you both.

Jason

Just a quick note to say that the WT arrived today and it sure didn't disappoint. Brent's work is nice and clean, the grinds and swedges top notch and the action smooth and well aligned.

This one will definitely be seeing some pocket time. Thanks again, Brent!

I'm glad you like it Elliott. Thanks for the kind words. It's been good to catch up!

You're welcome, Brent and likewise. You'll be happy to know that the WT has been in pocket with me all day today.

I was just wondering about that myself...glad you asked.

Well I'm back to making knives after a long break. Two years ago I started building a new house and shop. They are now close enough to being completed that I can justify working on some knives...Woowhoo!

Here is my first project since being back in the saddle. It's a 3 1/4" Zulu Spear shadow in ATS34. The interesting part of the project was some Micarta that I found in my fathers machine shop. He has been a machinist since the mid 1960's in Bloomington Indiana. This stuff was obtained from the Bloomington Westinghouse facility in the mid 70's. According to him it was used as some kind of heavy walled conduit. It"s an amber yellow paper based Micarta that's approximately 5" in diameter and has a 1/2" thick wall. I only found a 2' long piece of it though:(. I slabbed it into scales and it shows an amazing "Grain like" pattern due to it's circumference. Pretty cool find if I do say so myself.
