That's what normally happens, but this is the first folding knife I've made in stabilized Koa. I'd like to test it's durability for a few months at least. You know how Tony feels about any wood other than ebony!!!! We will see if he's right........ again! Lol. :barf:

Good news-got an e-mail today-my name's come up for a knife from Brent....Can't wait....Tony:rolleyes:

gonna go with a Lanny's clip-Brent does this pattern so well, & I've been wanting one for quite some time!!!

Here's one I've been working on for a fellow forum member. It's a 2 5/8" Serpentine Peanut. Don't let anyone fool you into thinking that smaller knives are easier... There's just not much to hold on to.... Man did I burn my fingers!

This little thing is made of ATS 34 and is halved in "Old Rogers Bone". I ask Tony Bose for some suggestions on the shield because none of the ones that I normally use would fit. We decided that the old Diamond Edge pattern would work. I wanted something fairly simple since I had to inlay it by hand.

I think it came out pretty well considering this was my first of this pattern.
