This is a small Bret Dowell that measures just over 2 3/4" closed. Actual closed length is 2 13/16" if a 1/16" matters to you
I only got this in a few weeks ago and hate to part with it, but some unexpected expenses have arisen
This beauty is scaled in olive green linen micarta--much more colorfast than canvas micarta.
It is 4 7/8" open--and stout for the size, but still fitting to the pattern--In other words it's in excellent proportion. Great for a gent knife, but still up to some heavy duty tasks that most knives in this size range couldn't handle.
Bret makes one fine slipjoint for the prices and wait times are on the rise.
This knife has only been carried (in slip case) a couple of times, but never used--for all intents and purposes this is a new/as received from maker knife with the disclosure of carrying a couple of times only for the sake of honesty--you'd never know it otherwise.
This knife has an ATS-34 blade with incredibly symmetrical grinds with well executed swedging. The blade is topped off with a fabulously executed trapezoidal shaped long pull (like the big dogs do)
Blade is dead center between the stainless liners and is flush in the open, closed and half-stop position. Ideal back-spring tension for security without being a nail breaker. The tang does not rub the liners.
$250 shipped and insured in the U.S.A. Paypal only (no fees) No E-Checks and NO WAIT TIME International okay for an additional $25 and you accept responsibility once it leave the U.S.A.
First one to say they want it gets it. Please respond by email, pm or post.
"I'll Take it" supercedes any pending offers, questions or expressions of interest.
