This is a Bret Dowell 3 3/8" (closed) shadow trapper with Desert Tan G-10 Scales.
It is 6 1/16" open
Bret makes one fine slipjoint for the price and his wait times are on the rise.
This knife has never been carried, used or excessively handled. It is NEW--as received from maker. Only selling because I have just received another knife from Bret this week and I tend to cotton to the smaller knives.
This knife has an ATS-34 blade with incredibly symmetrical grinds with subtle, but well executed swedging. The blade is topped off with one of the finest, cleanest nail pulls I've seen on ANY priced slipjoint.
Blade is dead center between the stainless liners and is flush in the open, closed and half-stop position. Firm snap, but not a nail breaker! The tang does not rub the liners.
