Bret Dowell Knives

peter, i saw that pair this morning, you wont like them, when you get the box just dont even open it, forward it on to me, ha

Peter r A great looking pair of Dowells. The scales on both knives are excellent, not to mention the knives themselves.

Cra 1 your son is a lucky lad. That knife will last him a life time. I have the same look on my face when I get a Dowell and I am more than 10 times
his age!!

yup, pretty excited to get these.....taking forever. he used the same piece of ivory for both knives so perfect match!

Here's a few knives I finished up lately and shipped out. A trapper with westinghouse micarta and a barlow with ancient walrus ivory. The walrus ivory had been handed down three generations. The customer finally decided to have something made out of it. Hope you guys like them.

Those look incredible Bret, I really like the barlow.

Hopefully my name will be coming up soon on your list.

Nice work Bret. I especially like the trapper.

Your photography skills are coming along too.

Bret,
Beautiful renditions on very classic folders, love the Westinghouse micarta on the Trapper.
Jeff

Bret, Is that trapper 3 5/8"? Is that a version of your modified clip blade? Your knives have such a distinctive look and feel to them. Great job. -Izzy

Whew. Now that is some fine work. They all look great, but that barlow hits me as outstanding.

And Peter, I am a little late, but what a fantastic job Bret did on that pair. Congratulations.

Look great as always my friend! Love that old Westinghouse Micarta, and that old
Ivory of course. That Barlow is dead on buddy, I really like that thing... Congrats!

Jason

Brett those are nice! Love the old westinghouse and the vintage walrus is killer. Great job!

Both great as usual, Bret.

The Westinghouse Micarta is just beautiful, and I like the clip/spear/spey or spey/spear/clip main blade on the barlow.
What do you call that one?
