The title says a lot! This is a Bret Dowell 3 3/8" closed Shadow trapper with Olive Green linen micarta--much more stable than Green Canvas Micarta as far as color fastness goes. Linen micarta isn't prone to darkening like canvas micarta is.
Bret makes one fine slipjoint for the price.
This knife has never been carried, used or excessively handled. It is NEW--as received from maker. Only selling because I already have two others from Bret and a similar one to this on order.
This knife has an ATS-34 blade with incredibly symmetrical grinds with subtle, but well executed swedging. The blade is topped off with one of the finest, cleanest nail pulls I've seen on ANY priced slipjoint.
Blade is dead center between the stainless liners and is flush in the open, closed and half-stop position. Firm snap, but not a nail breaker! The tang does not rub the liners.
