I was calling this a boning knife & it is,but honestly it's so much more. Bird & trout,fillet,meat process. When not afield ,the best kitchen knife you could ask for. At home I use mine as a personal steak knife. 3/32" thick D-2 is deep hollow ground thin to a razor slicer edge.OAL is 9.5",blade is 5-1/8" with 4-3/4" of edge. Black & orange liners ,under burlap micarta.The newer made " barbed wire " stuff. Pins & tube are black micarta. Right side belt loop sheath by Larry Parsons,double stitched
