Bowie: This knife is "new/as purchased" and has a forged blade of 1084 steel that is ~ 3/16" thick and 9 3/4" long (guard to tip). It is handled in ironwood burl via the mortice/hidden tang method and guard, pins and thong tube are nickel silver. Will ship with the leather sheath that came with it. Price on this one is $400 shipped (CONUS).

SOLD!

Personal Carry: Another one "new/as purchased" that also has a blade forged from 1084 steel that is ~ 3/16" thick and 4" long (guard to tip). Mortice (hidden) tang handle is fabricated from a very nice piece of Desert Ironwood Burl and will ship with it's original sheath. Would like $280 shipped (CONUS) for this one.

SOLD!!

Sorry to butt in on your thread, but I gotta say that these are two REALLY nice knives, and very fairly priced, IMHO.

Nice knives.
That bowie handle looks like ironwood. Does it have a palm swell?
Do the sheaths have belt loops?

Brett makes a great knife.

I'm happy to take that personal carry if it's still available. Should go well with my Gatlin bowie... email incoming.

1) The handle is in fact ironwood. My mistake!

2) Handle does have a mild palm swell

3) The bowie sheath is a 'frog style' w/o loops & the Personal Carry is a boot style, also w/o loops

Thanks for the interest, Jeff
