Boy, that Brett is one of the best. You can't go wrong doing business with him. Definitely. Honest, accurate in descriptions, etc, etc. The only wierd thing is the way he sometimes talks about himself in the third person...



Now, I realize posting my own feedback sort of breaks with tradition, but after completing numerous successful trades and deals with other Bladeforums members, I figured it was time somebody started a thread to vouch for my character. Naturally, I would have preferred not to get things rolling by giving myself feedback, but since I know people tend to be far more motivated to start a new thread when they're unhappy than when they're happy, I figured I'd just kick things off and see if that draws some positive replies from satisfied customers. Anyone? Anyone?

This is a trooly kewl concept! I want to take this opportunity to say that Cougar Allen is a rilly kewl moderator -- of course he has **** for brains like all moderators, but as moderators go he's not as much of a dork as some of them are.

And man have you seen Danelle? Woohoo. She's so smart and funny and sexy too. She's great fun to be around, and plays a mean game of pool! Hooray for Danelle!
 
While I don't mean to diminish the importance of what you people are saying, I would like to encourage you to tie Brett into your stories. For example, Clark might say that nobody knows about his secret life except for Brett, because he's so cool. Or Danelle might mention that she's fun to be around, much as Brett is.

I dunno, Brett. How many threads have you started telling how good all those members you've traded with are? A search turned up zero, but I dunno, maybe the search function is being sulky again; it does that occasionally....

I've heard of something called the Principle of Reciprocity. As nearly as I can understand it, it means for instance if you were to post "Danelle is sexy" she might respond with "Brett is sexy too." Then again maybe I misunderstood that ... maybe she would respond with a paternity suit, I dunno.

About all I'm sure of is if you post "I'm great" it doesn't seem to provoke responses saying "Yes, he's wonderful." It seems to bring out responses saying "I'm great too" instead. I realize that's not what you were expecting, but that seems to be the way it works.
 
I WAS going to reply to your thread and say what a good honorable guy you are to deal with this is true but i have had a bazillion post about jaxurman being good but none by DANELLE and you get one heck i would give her a sweet deal on a spydie or whatever just to see her pretty sweet face in her avatar and to have her wax eloquently about how cool i am just like patricia arquet kept saying in the movie and one of my favorites "TRUE ROMANCE " she kept saying to christian slater "your so cool your so cool" you put up one post and she responds so what gives ???? :( JAXURMAN
 
I'm cool too. Or maybe it's just the low self-esteem, doubt, and self-loathing talking. Now I'm depressed. I need more popcorn.:(

OK, you got me there. I was going to start a thread about my latest positive experience with jaxurman, but a quick scan of some recent messages here suggested another such thread might not get a warm reception. :D

Seriously, one thing I usually do when working out a trade with someone is to search GB&U for feedback on that person. Almost all of the people I've dealt with have been mentioned here as being good, so it didn't seem like a "me too" post would add much.

Actually, I'm pretty amused by most responses to this thread.

So, in the name of fair play, here are some Bladeforums members I've had good experiences with: jaxurman, Hoss, Tom Anderson, Ray Rogers, Markus Blattner, Larry Fidler, and C-Rum. Darn, I know there are others, but I don't have their email addresses or usernames anymore.

Now I may not be a prophylactic poster, or is that prolific? Anyway I digest, but I would have to say that I’m at least as cool as Brett.
 
I used to be as cool as Brett, but then he did this weird thread that no one understands, so now Im cooler. Me and Jaxurman are gonna go play with knives.
 
That’s weird. I went to edit, and clicked quote instead. I guess I just lost a few coolness points.

I'm betting that guy didn't do much business over the Internet. :D Also, if the honest man were not as wise as the wiseman you quote, would he know about this rule? Maybe he'd waste time talking about himself until someone wiser pointed out that it wasn't necessary. After all, if the rule were obvious, the wise man would have been wasting his time to even say it.

Anyway, it really didn't take much time at all to start this thread. And the quantity and quality of responses has made it mostly worthwhile.
