Up for sale is a gorgeous 2016 FTR V5 with ultra-rare dual Mokuti scales.
What makes her rare? This is the only dual Mokuti scale FTR V5 I've ever seen and perhaps the only one in existence. Brian doesn't work too often with fancy materials.
This FTR V5 has a small scratch on the Mokuti scale under the pocket clip which extends a couple millimeters to the right of the clip. I took some macro shots to show you where the scratch is located.
I spoke to Brian and he doesn't like to call it a scratch, but rather a "pocket-clip mark." Brian doesn't make white-glove-knives. This is a Beautiful-User!!!
With the exception of the small blemish, this knife is in outstanding condition!!!
Specs:
Horton Ground Blade - 3"
Handle - 4"
OAL - 7"
Blade - Horton Chisel Grind with high polish platinum tip finish
Tumble Finish Ti handles with Dual Mokuti Scales
G10 Backspacer
Thumb Disc
Lanyard Hole
The lock-up on this knife is rock solid at 35%!
The blade centering is spot-on.
The detent is and action are both excellent. I call her Goldilocks because the detent is not too strong and not too weak.
The blade features the stunning Horton grind. The edge is wicked sharp!!!
I'll say it again... With the exception of the small scratch, this knife is in excellent condition from top to bottom and will be a great addition to your collection.
The price has been dropped significantly to make this an easy sale!
THE PRICE IS $1,950 (NET) OBO!!!
Thank you!
