Today for your consideration I have a Brian Tighe Custom Breaker! The handle is titanium, and the blade steel (though technically unknown) is almost certainly RWL-34. According to the previous owner of the knife, this Breaker was bought over fifteen years ago from Brian himself, though I can neither confirm nor deny that.
The blade is 4”.
Thumbstuds and flipper. Strong lockup, and smooth (though not snappy) action.
This knife will come with the Brian Tighe wooden display box shown in the pictures.
For wear and tear, I am unaware of how much usage the knife has had by the previous owner, but there are no visible scratches or marks on the blade or handle. From me, it has cut one piece of paper to test sharpness, been opened half a dozen times, and had some 15W KPL lube applied to the pivot and detent ball.
It’s not a razor, but it does cut the paper smoothly.
For the price, I’m open to offers above $450, and very open to trades of any kind. I’m not currently a huge fan of fixed blades, as I have very little use for them, and right now I’m really enjoying Reate folders.
Multiples, and + or - cash is acceptable.
I will ship USPS, and take PP G&S for payment.
