Hello All,

Got two on Friday from Cheryl and a short review is in order - WOW! You will not be disappointed.

The blade is sharp - you can tell by my naked left arm. The handle - while short - fits my hand very nicely - I have large hands and it was comfortable. Took a stab at cord wrapping one of them and it felt better in my hand - but I took it off - as I have no talent in cord wrapping. I will try to find someone on the web to do it for me.

I will be ordering two more come Monday morning.

Great job.

I love the two I have had for over a year :D

Thanks for the pics David. Man, what an awesome looking design. I really like the fact that Ethan kept the "Becker look" even in a neck knife. I might just have to get me one of those.

David's knife is a prototype (Ethan made a few dozen I think)
Notice the differences.
Different tip. Hole in the guard.
A few other differences.

Yep It was given to me by Ethan he is a really cool dude. He asked me to see what I though & I thought it was great.:D

Good looking cord wrap job on those! I'm thinkin' one of the neckers is a must have! Between my BK 5, (or a 9) the necker, and my Leatherman Wave I oughta be pretty well covered under any most circumstances.

Ok- this is a prototype, but will the production version have the bottle opener-wire breaker thing...i realy liked the idea
Could you post a pic where you hold this baby in your hand?

I haven't seen one yet but it seems rather large for a neck/back-up
knife? Compared to other neckers it's very large!
It's a good size for a belt knife to me.
Mick

The prototype that David pictured has been changed considerably.....here[again] is the pic of the production knife....

Nice Cord wrap David;)

3 1/2" wide blade is still big to me,,,,,for a necker.
Don't get me wrong, knife looks great and I might still have to get
one?
I like the complete Becker line, I have used my BK-1 Brute many times.

I dunno. I like the idea of a necker large enough to actually use. I have some small neckers, and they are nice, but a little small for edc use.

I have one on the way. Should be here by the end of the week. I'll take some comparison shots.

Okay but whats the blade length, and overall length. Any pics to show the size? I don't need another necker...looking for a small fixed blade. Hopeing this will be it.

Guys,
The specs are ....

OAL-6.75"
Blade Lenght-3.25"
Thickness-.150"

Of course, 0170-6C carbon steel with the same black epoxy powder coat as all the BK&T line.

Kewl little using knife....meant to WORK, not a fashion statement;)

The protypes seem to have the same blade profile as the BK7 whereas the production model looks like a miniature BK10.

Now, don't get me wrong, since I will more than likely buy one of these, but I prefer a neck knife to be slimmer. I occasionally wear mine underneath my shirt, and a neck knife that is too big makes it look like you have some kind of stomach tumor. :)

Overall, this is a great looking knife, and I'm sure you guys will sell a buttload of them. But, please consider making a slimmer and pointier version. Maybe a warncliffe too.

I received my BK-11 yesterday, and I just wanted to express my appreciation to Ethan Becker and the folks at Camillus for offering this product. I’ve been looking for a small, quality fixed blade with a functional bottle opener for a long time, and I’m delighted that BK&T has finally filled the niche. Well done!
